Marvin Vettori joins QLASH as an investor
The Italian MMA fighter deepened his relationship with Esports and Gaming by becoming an investor in the club.
Mixed martial arts fighter Marvin Vettori has been announced as a new investor in QLASH. He joins the European Esports organization (which has a huge Italian fanbase) after developing a great relationship with the club and its administration, and based on the passion he feels about gaming and Esports.
“The Italian Dream”, as Vettori is known, is 28 years old and holds 5th place in the UFC Middleweight Division with a record of 17 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. The Vettori announcement comes right after QLASH was elected Best Italian Team for the second year in a row. This shows that the club has a great reputation in Italy, corroborated by the addition of Vettori to the organization.
About his decision of becoming an investor in QLASH, Marvin Vettori said: “I am very excited to be part of this innovative project that QLASH is leading. I believe esports are the future, and they are an opportunity for the new generations. I strongly believe QLASH will take this game to the next level, and I am glad to be an important part of it”.
Luca Pagano, Co-Founder and CEO of QLASH, mentioned that “Marvin Vettori joining QLASH shows how crucial is for us to join forces with the sports world. We work every day to be a bridge between traditional sports and esports and having a world class UFC fighter becoming not only an investor but also a talent in QLASH confirms that. We are glad to have Marvin bringing his investment and image to QLASH and joining a list of well-known sportsmen like poker players Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Jeff Gross, Spanish footballer Victor Camarasa, and many others we are thrilled to announce soon”.
Marvin Vettori is the latest well-known investor that joins QLASH, following Spanish footballer Victor Camarasa last month. Before them, professional poker players Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Jeff Gross joined the company as investors. Vettori’s addition brings an even bigger audience crossover for QLASH, gathering Esports, gaming, poker, football and now mixed martial arts.
Vettori’s announcement comes during the last phase of the equity crowdfunding campaign that QLASH is leading in the Seedrs platform, which has already passed the € 1 million mark. The club positions itself as an Esports and Gaming organisation that brings distinct solutions to building communities for multiple different games and bridging traditional brands with this young generation.
For the past 4 years, QLASH has focused on building a large community, strong brand and close relationships with massive brands such as AC MILAN, Sky TV, Red Bull, Viber, MARCA and Paysafe.
Over the last 6 months, the club’s focus has been the development of the QLASH Community App. It launched as a private MVP in November 2020 and has only recently become available in public. Early results are extremely positive as it’s already averaging almost 20k monthly active users, with over 1500 online Esports events organised.
Marvin Vettori, welcome to QLASH!
