The esports organization won the prize with a unanimous vote, and the club’s StarCraft II player Reynor also won the prize for Best Italian Player for the third year in a row.

The 2021 Italian Esports Awards ceremony was held during Round One event in Torino, and QLASH earned two of the most important prizes, both for the second year in a row.

The Treviso-based organization was awarded Best Italian Team of the year over Exeed, Macko Esports, Reply Totem and Samsung Morning Stars. QLASH was founded in 2017 by Luca Pagano and Eugene Katchalov and earned this recognition for the second year in a row while the club is entering the last phase of a very successful equity crowdfunding campaign and has secured several new partnership deals.

This award confirms all the good work that the organization has been doing in the last years, bringing distinct solutions to build communities for multiple different games and bridging traditional brands with this young generation. The company is also focusing on the continued development of the QLASH Community App, which is already averaging almost 20k monthly active users, with over 1500 online Esports events organised.

Regarding the crowdfunding campaign, QLASH secured the €800,000 target goal in just four days and extended the end date because of the number of interested investors. The campaign is expected to exceed the €1,000,000 mark with almost 400 investors.

Also, a QLASH professional player was awarded at the event. Riccardo “Reynor” Romiti won the prize for Best Italian Player also for the third year in a row. He got elected over Rainbow Six player Alessio Aquilani, EA Sports FIFA player Danilo Pinto, eFootball player Ettore Giannuzzi and Simracing driver Valerio Gallo. Reynor won StarCraft II IEM Katowice 2021 becoming World Champion. He became the first non-Korean to win the biggest event since its inception in 2013.

The Italian Esports Awards are organized by the Italian Interactive Digital Entertainment Association (IIDEA) and the jury lineup include esports professionals, reporters and content creators.
