The Spanish player for Real Betis decided to get involved in the gaming and Esports industry becoming an investor in the club.

The well-known Spanish footballer Victor Camarasa, who is an active player for Real Betis at LaLiga in Spain, joins as an investor in QLASH. His decision is based on how passionate he is about gaming and video games and on the great moment the European esports organization is experiencing, with a strong presence in the Spanish market.

Camarasa started his professional career in Levante, and then also played for Spanish Alaves and Betis. After that, he went on to play for Cardiff City from Wales, and Crystal Palace from England. The addition of Camarasa as an investor is proof of all the good work that QLASH has been doing and will continue doing

Victor Camarasa stated: “I wanted to commit when I was 100% sure and this is a great opportunity of doing so. Esports doesn’t stop growing and is becoming massive. I have had several proposals to get involved but when QLASH contacted me and I had a chat with Diego (Griñan), it was great how well they explained to me the project and their vision. I was really satisfied and decided to take the step forward”.

QLASH’s Spain Country Manager, Diego Griñan Malla, said: “Victor arrival as an investor is something that makes us proud. Earning the trust of a well-known football player validates all the work we have been doing during the past years. We are sure he will bring not only his investment but also his participation in the project in his unique way. We are very excited about him joining the QLASH family”.

About this opportunity, Camarasa added: “I believe this is my way of contributing and what’s better than doing so with the help of an esports club. I’m interested in being part of a company that works at multiple levels in esports. I believe QLASH is doing things really good and that can grow a lot, that’s why I’m very happy of joining this club”.

Victor Camarasa joins the list of well-known investors in QLASH like professional poker players Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Jeff Gross. Just like they brought knowhow from the poker industry and their audience to QLASH, Camarasa will bring his knowhow as a professional player from the football industry and his audience to the club.

QLASH is now running an already successful equity crowdfunding campaign on the Seedrs platform and the addition of Camarasa as an investor is a strong push. The club positions itself as an Esports and Gaming organisation that brings distinct solutions to building communities for multiple different games and bridging traditional brands with this young generation.

For the past 4 years, QLASH has focused on building a large community, strong brand and close relationships with massive brands such as AC MILAN, Sky TV, Red Bull, Viber, MARCA and Paysafe.

Over the last 6 months, our focus has been the development of the QLASH Community App. It launched as a private MVP in November 2020 and has only recently become available in public. Early results are extremely positive as it’s already averaging almost 20k monthly active users, with over 1500 online Esports events organised.

Victor Camarasa, Welcome to QLASH!
