NOW TV is the main sponsor of the QLASH team jersey for FIFA 2021

Milan, 30 November 2020. NOW TV, the streaming service by Sky, and team QLASH, announce their partnership in the world of esports. NOW TV is the first OTT platform to invest in the esports world and sustain the evolution of gaming in Italy.

NOW TV offers a line and on demand service that can be accessed in a few clicks. The contents are also available through the Smart Stick, a convenient device that makes the TV smart.

QLASH is one of the world’s leading esports organizations which was recently awarded the title of Best Italian Team of the year 2020. A company whose mission is to build and support the gaming and esports community on global and local level.

The goal of the partnership is to capture an audience of potential new users through one of the most driving passions of the post-Millennial generations.

In Italy alone, there are about 1.4 million eSports and gaming enthusiasts, most of them aged between 18 and 34. It is an intelligent audience hungry for contents and particularly attentive to what brands communicate, and above all to how they act in this sector.

NOW TV is the main sponsor of the QLASH jersey that will be released within FIFA. From today (30/11) to 6 December there will be the possibility to redeem the limited edition QLASH shirt to be used in the FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team) mode: the most used mode of the FIFA video game that allows each player to “create” their own team and unwrap virtual packs in which they find players, shirts and stadiums.

The activities will kick off with a tournament that will start on December 5 and will comprise four qualifying phases that will take place from December 5 to 16 and from which the 8 finalists will come out (two from each phase).

Each participant in the tournament will get free one-month trial of NOW TV, while the top 5 finalists in addition to the NOW TV award will get specific prizes related to the gaming world. The winner of the tournament will become the official NOWTVxQLASH player. The tournament will be managed in the proprietary QLASH App, and the qualifiers and finals will be streamed on Twitch.

Large space on social media with a wide-range digital campaign aimed at providing relevant and engaging content to all eSports enthusiasts.

NOW TV will have its own space in the QLASH House, one of the largest eSports gaming houses in the world. A special streaming area, dedicated to everything related to esports, interviews with players and live games.
